OVERSIZED ITEM

Pair of end tables designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard in teak with woven cane lower shelves. Each table features a softly rounded rectangular top supported by cylindrical vertical posts and tapered round legs. The lower shelf is framed in solid teak with inset woven cane panels, creating open storage beneath the tabletop.

The teak shows varied grain patterns across the tops, including cathedral and linear figuring visible throughout the surface. Rounded edges and curved shelf rails soften the overall profile, while the cane shelves add texture and contrast to the wood construction. The proportions work well as end tables or compact side tables in a living room or bedroom setting.
