Vintage table lamp designed by Gordon and Jane Martz for Marshall Studios, featuring a tall ceramic body paired with a tapered teak neck. The Martz's produced ceramic lighting for Marshall Studios in Indiana, frequently combining glazed stoneware bodies with turned wood components.

This example has a tall, slightly tapered cylindrical ceramic base finished in a dark brown glaze. Narrow horizontal bands of lighter tan ceramic run around the body at irregular intervals, with variations in thickness and spacing visible throughout. The photographs also show natural tonal variation within the glaze and several elongated lighter areas incorporated into the surface.

A tapered teak wood neck extends from the top of the ceramic body and supports the brass socket assembly. The warm tone and visible grain of the teak contrast with the darker ceramic below. The lamp is fitted with a standard socket and harp support, and the photographs show it paired with a large cylindrical fabric shade.
