OVERSIZED ITEM

Vintage Danish mid-century modern coffee table designed by Ole Wanscher, constructed in teak. The table features an elongated rectangular tabletop with a floating-top construction, gently rounded edges, and four slender, tapered legs.

The tabletop displays warm golden-brown teak tones with pronounced grain patterns extending lengthwise across the surface. A particularly distinctive area of figured grain is visible near the center, while the surrounding sections feature straighter, more consistent grain. The top is finished with a narrow teak border, subtly rounded corners, and a smooth, gently curved edge along its perimeter.

The tabletop extends beyond the supporting frame, creating a slight separation between the upper surface and the apron beneath. This floating-top arrangement emphasizes the table's thin profile while retaining a substantial surface area. The apron runs along the underside of the tabletop, with carefully shaped transitions where it meets the four legs.

Each leg has a rounded profile and tapers gradually toward the floor. The legs are positioned near the corners of the supporting frame, allowing the tabletop to extend slightly beyond them on all sides. The understated construction and absence of decorative hardware maintain the clean, consistent appearance of the design.
