DUX Square Coffee Table by Ohlsson

Vintage Swedish mid-century modern square coffee table designed by Ohlsson for DUX, constructed in teak. The table features a broad, square tabletop with a framed teak surface, softly rounded edges, and an architectural base supported by four sculpted legs and intersecting diagonal stretchers.

The tabletop displays a carefully arranged pieces of teak with symmetrical grain patterns and warm reddish-brown tones. A solid teak border surrounds the veneered center, with mitered corners and gently rounded edges that provide a continuous, finished profile along all four sides. The generous square surface offers ample space for everyday use in a living room or lounge setting.

Beneath the tabletop, four solid teak legs feature a distinctive sculpted construction, with subtle tapering toward the floor and curved transitions where the legs connect to the supporting framework. Two diagonal wooden stretchers extend between opposing legs, crossing at the center to form an X-shaped support structure. Their intersections are secured with visible hardware, while the shaped connections at each leg maintain a consistent profile throughout the base.
